How does the activity take place?

We begin the adventure at the meeting point (La Maleza Wildlife Park), where we’ll get into the vehicle to head to the Rewilding Territory. During the journey, we may spot different wild animals, which we’ll comment on along the way, as we travel via a forest track (Barranco Hondo) until we reach the territory where our herds of Tauros (a recreation of the extinct aurochs) and wild horses live.

Once there, we’ll start a walk on foot to look for the animals and observe the wild behavior of the extinct aurochs. We’ll learn what rewilding is, the effects being generated in this area, and the ancestral, natural relationships between the animals that live there. We’ll also see up close the importance of bringing large herbivores back to our landscapes.
